The first phase of voting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 19. To see if your name is on the voter list:
- Visit the website of the Election Commission.
- On the home screen, tap the elector menu.
- Navigate to the “Search your name in the electoral roll” menu item.
- Use your Voter ID or EPIC number to look up your name in the list if you have it with you. Simply enter the number when required, and the website will show you whether your name is on the voter list for your constituency.
It’s okay if you’re not carrying your EPIC at the moment! Other alternatives, such as your phone number or personal information, can still be used to search for your name. You may quickly find out if your name is on the voter list for your district by simply following the website’s instructions and providing the necessary information.
To use the search by specifics option, you must provide some specific facts, such as your birth date, district, assembly region, and information about a relative. Once you enter these details into the internet, you will be able to locate your name on the voter list.
If you search for your name on the electoral roll using information other than your EPIC number, make a note of what you type for future reference. This allows you to simply double-check and go back to it if necessary.
You can also use your EPIC number to discover your polling location and other crucial information, such as the local polling officer.
