Crew movie’: A sexy, funny and truthful aircraft heist movie.

Three women straining to keep their heads above rough waves, shucking, jiving, and diving while remaining fleet-footed and having fun while ensuring we do as well? Take all my money right now.

The story about Crew movie:

Geeta Sethi (Tabu), Jasmine Bajwa (Kareena Kapoor Khan), and Divya Rana (Kriti Sanon) are crew members at Kohinoor Airlines, a thinly-veiled stand-in for the now-defunct real-life Kingfisher Airlines, whose chairman (Saswata Chatterjee) is an even thinnerly-veiled stand-in for the ‘bhagoda’ billionaire Vijay Mallya. The film’s writers, Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri, don’t go into too much detail about their character, Vijay Walia, who runs away and declares bankruptcy, leaving thousands of employees behind.

The story begins with the women being interrogated, hinting at what they may have done. We then flash back to see their lives and how their paths cross. Facing rising debt and a grim future, they come across an opportunity to smuggle gold.

Tempted by the prospect of financial freedom, they create a dangerous strategy. But the world of smuggling is perilous, and their acts have repercussions. The film investigates issues of female companionship, desperation, and the extent people would go to for a better life. It’s a fun viewing with humorous elements that also addresses serious concerns.

Why should men have all of the fun and perform all of the action in the air, Crew Movie?

I love it when women take command in the movies, and director Rajesh Krishnan’s heist comedy Crew is a breath of fresh air, both in terms of plot and in how it portrays its three protagonists, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. They are fierce, fearless when necessary, and, most importantly, great fun. But don’t grumble when things take an unexpected turn or become a little lame; that’s the beauty of Crew; it still makes for a humorous and refreshing viewing.

Crew Review:

Kareena Kapoor, Tanu, and Kriti Sanon’s heist comedy is entertaining throughout and left you wishing it could last longer. Kareena Kapoor steps back in time and lets her hair down with comfort. She comes out on top. Tabu, too, rises above the din, despite having a very sketchily sketched character who bears a lot of the film’s weight on her shoulders.

The film’s cast includes:

Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh, Rajesh Sharma, Saswata Chatterjee, Kapil Sharma, Pooja Bhamrrah, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.

Rajesh Krishnan is the movie’s director.

Crew movie rating: 3.50 out of five stars.
