Known for his experimental music, Mike Shinoda is once again pushing boundaries with a fresh lineup of songs, ushering in a new era for the band.

For the first time, Emily Armstrong has stepped up as Linkin Park's lead vocalist, marking their first new music release since 2017.

On Thursday, September 5th, the band kicked off a livestream introducing Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain.

Their new single, "The Emptiness Machine," has been released, along with the announcement of a new album, From Zero, set to drop on November 15.

Armstrong, hailing from the alt-rock band Dead Sara, joins forces with Brittain, a songwriter and producer who's worked with Papa Roach.

Although Chester Bennington is irreplaceable, Shinoda addressed the crowd, inviting them to sing along in tribute to Chester's legacy.
